Soundwave reissue is remolded Soundblaster???

Takara´s most recent addition to their Transformers Collection reissue figures, Soundwave (TF #10), appears to be a remolded exclusive Soundblaster figure from the 1987 Japanese Headmasters series. The silver cassette player buttons are on the outside of the figure (like Soundblaster) rather than connected from the inside of the figure. The cassette deck "door / panel" hinges connect to the silver buttons like Soundblaster rather than the sides of the figure like the original Soundwave figure (the original Microman "Cassette Man" mold from 1973). However, the door itself is remolded so it only holds one cassette Transformer rather than 2, like Soundblaster´s door is capable of holding. Check out the comparison pictures here. So I ask the most obvious question: "Where is the e-Hobby SOUNDBLASTER exclusive?" You can discuss this at the Energon Pub by clicking here.

UPDATE: Apparently this is already being debated elsewhere in the online Transformers community. It seems this "mold" variation in the original Soundwave existed in Japan before the Soundblaster figure was ever released. find more information and pictures about this subject here at Toys News International (TNI).
