Read what he has to say:
Recently there has been a rash of spambots Pm'ing people on the board.
If you receive any PM's with strange links DO NOT CLICK ON THEM.
Please report them to the staff and I will deal with them.
ALSO it is important that when you report you spell the spambots name correctly.
We at seibertron.com count on your cooperation in this matter and are working on getting this problem out of the world.

What is a PM. More importantly, what does the link do? Is it ads or is it a snopes worthy virus?

A PM is a Private Message. It is like an e-mail system that only works for registered users. The links probably contain viruses and spyware.

I got one of those. The name on it is acklianer. If that helps any, I didn't know where else to report it.

If you get a suspicious PM from someone (That user's been taken care of now) please click on one of the Staff Member profiles and send us a PM containing the information.

would it mske sence do do a screen print in the pm to pass on all relevant info
