Stock Photos for Upcoming Walmart Exclusive G2 Sideswipe, Mirage, Laser Cycle and More

But that's the point. These specific auctions are for a pre-orders that won't ship for a couple of months, so they won't be *first* to get them. The toy reviewers that do that know where to go, and it isn't eBay. These auctions will ship around the same time as the items normal release.

I read some of the sellers negative feedback, from customers who didn't read all the details, thinking these items were shipping right away, when they aren't.

There is another reason to pay those high prices, these are walmart exclusives, their track record is dogshit and there are some places in the world that never got the previous ones. So preordering this guarantees you don't have to hunt for it in vain, or simply get it at all.

People have been burnt too many times by exclusives and these e-bay sellers take advantage of that.

"Laser Cycle"? You have got to be kidding me! First you use a mold that has already failed! Then you give it a name no one could possibly like!

Sideswipe has such obnoxious colors, and I love it. Why they used the Red Alert head, I don't know, but those colors RULE!

Mirage continues to look wonderful, I love the watermelon colors!

Dead End looks good, super glad I decided to go purely for G2 Stunticons!

All in all, this subline is tickling my fancy so hard. I love G2, and it's great to see more stuff like this happening.

What's odd to me is that they used the Sideswipe head on the box art, but not the actual toy.

They used the right head on the back of the box, too. I guess it's another case of them using the wrong alternate head on a mold.

Also something I've noticed about him and Mirage. On the original 90s prototypes both of them had their heads all done in one color. For new Mirage they painted his face silver and the art on the box has him with a silver face, but with Sideswipe they kept his head all one color (with white eyes) like the original prototype, but the art on the box has his face painted silver(?) and only his eyes are blue. Looks like they were going to paint his face as well so I wonder why they only did Mirage? Also weird that they decided to do two tones of blue. And his head looks like it's painted blue, it doesn't look like colored plastic, looks too glossy and the details are too soft, but it should already be part of one of the blue sprues so that's very confusing.

The image on the back of the box is the CAD, but between that and the art on the side of the box they definitely used the wrong head in the figure stock photo. The question is if they'll actually fix that on the final figure or if it's already locked in like when they screwed up T-Wrecks.

Maybe it's painted a slightly different shade of the blue, like the 3 different colors on Jazz's head, and it just isn't photographing right like what we just saw with the Buzzworthy Seeker?

I wondered about that, but I also wondered if anyone would care if the head was the darker blue instead of the lighter blue.
