Hot on the heels of taking pre-orders for the most recent set of Tigatron vs. Blackarachnia, the Beast Wars VS line will soon be adding Rattrap vs. Terrorsaur to its ranks. So far Takara Tomy has only teased us with one image on their official Twitter account of the pair with their new decos. This will be the first time the Terrorsaur figure is released in Japan despite having two options through Hasbro.

Hopefully the wings of this Terrorsaur release aren't even more loose than those of its first two releases were.

I never liked that rattrap. The mold was odd with his shoulders being odd. So it'll be a easy pass for me

I'm not sure how I feel about the black plastic, dark gray would have been better. I think they didn't go quite all in on the accuracy like they did previous figures, like the back of his hands should be red. Twitter reactions see to be that the Gold Disc figure is better...

More new news for this series.

The old Japanese Beast Wars album Beast Wars Transformer Songs Best is getting rereleased to accompany this line, retitled Beast Wars Transformer Songs Best –Again–.

A bonus 18th track has also been added, featuring the song "CAN WE PLAY OFF", which was the secondary track of the original single album release of "WAR! WAR! STOP IT" (the original theme song for the Japanese dub of Beast Wars season 1).

Nippon Columbia has a listing for the new album release.

These look nice, but a bit scary, the shine makes me think about whether they could get GPS in the future.

The shine is glossy metallic paint.

Dinobot looks colored like his Masterpiece toy, and apparently this set includes another Golden Disk accessory (likely the same double-sided Voyager/Vok mixture one that came first with Kingdom Ark and then with Amazon Terrorsaur).

Looks like the disc may have been metalized so that's cool.

Both figures look great, but the deco sure doesn't help improve Dinobot's dino mode.

Next in line for the Beast Wars Again versus line we have what appears to be our first look at Airazor VS Inferno via Champion Toys on Facebook. While much like the previous sets in the line these Kingdom and Legacy molds are getting more cartoon accurate repaints, but this one comes with an interesting bonus. In these photos not only does Inferno have his thruster in his back, but also has a second one in his hand painted up to look like his massive flamethrower from the cartoon! While a new weapon mold would have been nice, this is a nice consolation prize. The images say the reveal date is September 7 so we should be seeing full details next week!

This might be the only one of these sets I pick up. That Airazor looks great and I actually need a new Airazor since the wings on both of mine broke. Skywarp's/Silverbolt's wings are fine though. And I did want to pick up another Inferno to put the Scavenger head on. So I can take care of two things with one set. I might have to look into getting drill weapons for my makeshift Scavenger. I just don't really like any of the ones I've seen made specifically for that mold yet.

Yeah, I did the leak for 07, but I guess I forgot to post the gallery.

08 Waspinator looks good, but that Starscream is a must! Shame that tolerances don't allow all parts to be clear, but I'm impressed by how vibrant it looks compared to previous versions.

Hope it still looks that good in production.

For the colors, keep in mind that Takara are really big fans of messing with the colors in Photoshop. Like the difference in colors in the Beast Wars Again between the stock photos and the in-hand images. Or, remember back when Kingdom Megatron came out and he looked hot pink in Takara's pictures? I've learned not to trust the colors of Takara's photos.

I was curious what the differences were between VS03 and VS08 Waspinator so here they are their stock images side by side.

VS03

VS08

Different shades of green, yellow vs gold, clear blue vs purple. 08 also has a Decepticon symbol on the side of his head. Not exactly a toon accurate figure, feels like this was their best option to get a ghost Starscream out.
