Thanks to Planet Iacon on Facebook and ?????@AKG???? on Twitter, we have even more Masterpiece news for you, this time in the form of the giant purple people eater himself: Beast Wars Megatron!

The new masterpiece figure was revealed to us at the Shizuoka Hobby Show, where a gray prototype has been photographed next to the upcoming MP-41 Dinobot, visible just to the left. Based on the size of the prototype in relation to Dinobot, he looks to be a very big figure, Yessssssssssss. He even comes complete with the T-Rex head as his right hand and the tail as his left.

We have no further information on this figure at this time, though we imagine we will be getting many new pictures and details in the comings days. So check out this prototype, and let us know what you think in the comments section below!

It looks amazing. Can't wait to find out more details. Hopefully he's got some actual hands hiding underneath the T-Rex head and tail. His robot mode head looks "off", but I can't tell if it's because of the lighting and shadows or if something is really off. Considering how amazing Cheetor, Optimus Primal and Dinobot have turned out, I'll assume that it's just poor lighting that is making his robot mode head look not quite right. Definitely looking forward to colored pictures!

I think it is indeed a combination of the lighting, shadows, and angle that make his head look off, in that we can barely even see what his eyes look like in that light/shadow/angle.

I do hope so on this one. I love beast wars Megatron but I was always disappointed that the original toy didnt have hands,

No no, its Beast Wars Megatron all the way. I will always remember getting him for christmas. I never liked TM1 Megatron for a ton of reasons (both as a kid and now). That year I wanted TM Primal for christmas instead. I do like BMII Megatron though.

Yes, he's bigger. But I am not sure how big he will be, not sure if he will be as big as MP-10 or slightly bigger, its hard to tell.

I was never really a fan of Base T-Rex Megatron before. I always thought the design was a bit all over the place, aesthetically (TM1 was sublime in that regard). But this looks spectacular! I wonder if he will come with the Mouth Rocket as an attachment? :-?

Well, here he is anyway, the only Season One Predacon that isn't ridiculously tiny :lol:

Primal is hunched over a bit in that image, but Megs was always taller.

He looks maybe half a head taller than Dinobot in height. Looks bigger in every other way.
