Autobase Aichi has the first stock pics for upcoming Transformers Adventure figures TAV 38 Thunderhoof and TAV 39 Quillfire.

These are the Takara Tomy versions of Hasbro's Warrior Thunderhoof and Quillfire, who recently got the gallery teatment.

As can be seen below, they do both sport some slight deco differences, let us know whch version you preffer!

These should be available in March.

I'll definitely get the Hasbro version of Thunderhoof. The blue looks so much better.
With Quillfire I am a bit undecided. I like the Hasbro color scheme better but the gold on Takara's looks realy cool and they gave him his symbol. But I'm sure labels will fix that and I can give him some gold and other paint details on my own.
Yeah, I'll stick to Hasbro this time.

I do preffer the blue on Hasbro's thunderhoof (I dont get Takara's angle of making him overly colourful), but I like how Takara extends his head with blue paint vertically, it works much better. An my huge problems with the doors is fixed in vehicle mode. So its a toss up. Of course, I will probably stick with hasbo if only for it costing me less since i can find it at a decent discount.

I like the character even though I don't watch the show. The antlers look pretty nice to me.
