well, there was a rather large supply of deluxes in kitchener, so I'm guessing they'll have the voyagers...

Hasbro has really made this confusing for folks. So the Animated series will be released in Canada soon, but won't be released in the U.S. until possibly June?

The difference may be in the packaging. The ones in CANADA are the North American version (tri-lingual). The ones to be released in the US will be all english. The Canadian versions may have come off the manufacturing line first since the differ from those to be released in the US and other parts of the world where they will get the uni-lingual packages.
Whatever the reason I will be picking up one of each thank you very much.

Great, I'm heading out that way now.
Another reason is that Hasbro Canada "bids" no how many figures they want to release across the GWN. We'll prolly get Universe first too

They're not out everywhere yet. Reports are coming in from some areas in Ontario, but my local TRU didn't have any voyagers. They did have a whack of the four deluxe animated figures though.

Is Bulkhead, Starscream and Megatron the only voyagers in wave 1? Kinda strange if they don't include Optimus Prime.

Prime is Wave 1.5 of the voyagers. He'll be out within a month or so.
