"On channel 7 in Australia, they are having a competition where you can go into the running to win a Hummer, as part of their "Transform your Thursday" promotion to coincide with Heroes moving to Thursday nights. The Promotion is also tied to Transformers, with the Australian release date being confirmed as June 28th."

Sounds neat!
I wouldn't mind winning a Hummer! Of course, I don't think I'm in the running on this one...

What does winning a Hummer have to do with winning a ticket to a preview screening with Bay?

The only reason I would love to win a ticket to a preview screening with Bay is so that I could personally punch him in the face on behalf of all Transformers fans. Obviously, I'd get beaten to a bloodied pulp by his bodyguards or whatever, but it'd sure be worth it.

I would hope that most fans, regardless of their opinions on the movie, wouldn't appreciate someone being punched on their behalf.

As a Transformers fan this isn't something i'd condone, so please, don't delude yourself with the thought that your opinions are shared by the entire fandom.
