Transformers Go! G26 Optimus EX Prime Triple Changer Seen on Promotional Poster

OH, hello Takara, here's more of my money

*sigh* I loved TF: Prime, but I'm regretting buying the huge-ass 'Beast Hunter Optimus' a little bit. Not worthy of the show character at all. Sure GO! is a bit on the 'cheap kids anime side' but the toys and character designs just seem to be appealing more. I'm excited for this new toy...I kinda bought 'Prime' Optimus for the sake of it.

Still, that said, when we see this design in toy form it could suck. Though maybe not as much as AoE Prime currently looks. What we really need is toys like this but a story more like TF: Prime. Or at least anime that takes TF a bit more seriously.
I am a fan of what I have seen of GO! so far though

We can't see much, but what we can see looks all right.

Well that didn't take long! Just this morning we got our first glimpse of Takara Tomy's upcoming Transformers Go! G26 Opimus EX Prime from a promotional store display, but it was only a peek at his animation model. Now thanks to a user on TinyPic we have our first look at the actual figure! The version of Optimus Prime sports three modes: robot, bullet train, and dragon - plus he has the ability to combine with G01 Kenzan and G05 Gekisomaru. Check him out below!

Looks rather kibbly. I'm not that interested at this time.

Of course it won't be perfect but if we compare it to Beasthunter Optimus.........

Eh, just sorta looks like him to me. The way the swords are held is especially evocative of him.

So all three combine? that must mean Prime suffers from high hips syndrome.

He sort of reminds me of G1 Starsaber. The red upper torso and the white and blue "pants"

And they are getting less "alien insect like" with every release. Keep it going Tomy!

Animation wise, I wonder how they're going to shoehorn him back to the story. From truck to train?
