Transformers Mosaic: "Hunter or Hunted."

I for one think that Devcon wasn't used enough in the cartoons.

The first thing I thought as I saw the saw (teehee) and spiky knuckles is "Lockdown", and I was right. Lockdown as a G1 character? That's as good as Bulkhead (Animated) being a G1 character!

Ah, well. I've never been a big fan of Blitz-Wing's designs.
He's got a touch of Pat Lee to him, though it's only really noticeable once every few pics.
Also he somehow managed to make Bumblebee look old to me.

But Lockdown is possibly the design that frustrates me the most.
As Blitz-Wing's typical habits include tall slender bodies, oddly proportioned legs, and faces with wide jaws and weird stretchy faces. With all that, you'd think he'd be perfect to draw Lockdown. But when he drew Lockdown, he did just the opposite of that. And because of this, he just looks completely and utterly plain.

Though, if you use your imagination I suppose you can say this makes him look more like Lance Henriksen.

Woah, that was cool...though stupidly I thought Devcon was Blurr, I was wondering why Blurr'd be there....
Hmm, LockDown looks kinda off, maybe it's the face, too smug, but I haven't seen him in Animated so I don't know how he acts....

Ah, never watched Animated and steered clear of all of the animated toys as well. And now who's this Devcon everyone's mentioning? Never heard of that name before either.

Devcon, or sometimes written as Defcon, was a one-shot character from the cartoon series that was a bounty hunter. Mostly worked alone but learned to appreciate the help of others some by the end of the episode.

Not very edgy as this was an 80s kids show, but the idea that even the Autobots could be willing to employ 'dirty jobs done dirt cheap' later lead to comic concepts like The Wreakers.
