I appreciate the effort, but IMHO: Mosaic = one-shot vignette... and not a serial.

That line was never intended to be a nod to Faker. Which is sad, because I wish I could say it was. Still, maybe my subconsious was at work.

Guiltor is a one-shot character from a Japanese Manga published in 1986: http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Guiltor

A link to the translated Manga can be found at the bottom of the page. He's official, but never did anything else.

I've never read either of those(but I have seen 300). Still, I'm a fan of Linkara and Atop the Fourth Wall, so it's very possible that influenced how I wrote the piece.

Yep, it's a sequal. Notice he no longer wears a faction symbol.

However, those Quints in the other one weren't necessarily the ones who created him.
