The Universe of the Transformers is vast, and populated by many characters. Their universe is a large tapestry, made up of the stories and points of view of countless experiences that serve the larger whole.

These are some of those stories. This is:

The stories are not official canon, except where noted. These stories are the result of Transformers enthusiasts taking the time out of their busy days to contribute to a universe they love. Absolutly great! I am not usually impressed by Mosiacs, but this one nailed it. BTW EXCELLENT artwork!

I was a little stumped by this one at first, since this origin for these three doesn't jive with the comics or Japanese continuity where they were more prominent. Then I realized it was playing off the number of guys showing up new in The Rebirth that the Autobots already knew somehow, despite the assertion that the 'Cons hadn't attacked since The Return of Optimus prime. Crosswise incarcerating them before TFTM and their escape in 2007 is a decent explanation (the new Autobots could have just come from Paradron), along with a reason for all of these animal alt modes that weren't great disguises, though I'm a bit confused about him fusing a bunch of guys into Skullcruncher; he wasn't that much bigger than the others, and aren't there any leftovers for Scrapper to make into the Horrorcons and Clones?

Since Crosswise/Autovolt and Evac/Live Convoy imprisoning Decepticon "Monsters" was an homage to the Pretenders in Masterforce, this also provides an intersting parallel with Japanese continuity, which I generally subscribe to for the cartoon universe because I HATE the Rebirth. Yet even I have to admit, this mosaic is the best in months, giving the appearance of all these Earth-animal-based 'Cons a better explanation that the Marvel comic! Perfect art, and very well thought out. Keep 'em comin'!

This one is rad! Awesome art and cool concept. I like it better than some of the IDW comics, even. Great work!

as i was reading it i thought it was going to portray an explanation to the conflicting origins of the Constructicons, but things took a turn toward the confusing lol. top notch art, but there really isn't too much of a story. nice work regardless!

I liked everything about this Mosaic!

The art was crisp and refreshing
Good story and humor
Great use of a Monster Hunter like Crosswise
Excellent use of Crosswise as a G1 character
Nice nods to past episodes
Unique enough to be a stand alone story while bringing in purists

Great piece! Just makes me think- I'd LOVE a cybertron Crosswise repaint/remould using the RTS Jazz mold. He'd look great next to Nightbeat and Hardhead!

I think a repaint/remold of Classics Prowl/Silverstreak/Smokescreen would be more apt., as you'll see in the next installment(this is a three part tale) that Crosswise is actually a Datsun like Smokescreen, Bluestreak, and Prowl. And what is his colorscheme?

Very cool! I love Crosswise. Love that he's basically the Van Helsing of the Autobots who hunts Decepticons who dress up as monsters of legends. And it's a stroke of genius to stick him into the G1 universe and pit him against the Decepticon Headmaster trio of Weirdwolf, Mindwipe, and Skullcruncher. :APPLAUSE:
