Transformers Mosaic: "Upgrades."

The Universe of the Transformers is vast, and populated by many characters. Their universe is a large tapestry, made up of the stories and points of view of countless experiences that serve the larger whole.

These are some of those stories. This is:

It should be noted that while this project has been recognized by IDW Publishing and Hasbro, none of the works presented have been commissioned or solicited by either company. The stories are not official canon, except where noted. These stories are the result of Transformers enthusiasts taking the time out of their busy days to contribute to a universe they love. No one has been paid for the production of these stories.

Ah, very nice indeed! A great play on Overkill's weakness: not always having proper control of his size-changing when going from cassette to dinosaur.

Is it only me that think the recoloured grimlock as overkill is better looking then original classic grimlock

Bwahahahaha!!!

Awesome. Love the art style - Hirofumi Ichikawa-like informed mech illustration and toy-accurate proportions with a distictly alt-comics flavour!

And it's got ****ing Trypticon in it. What more can you ask for?!

EDIT: Forgot to mention, loving the lettering too - honestly as characterful as, well, the characters! :D

I fully agree. And that's coming from the stance that the Hasbro version is better than the Takara Grimlock. But neither holds a flame to this one.

This was writen and drawn last fall, but it took a while to find a colorist. All the really cool details are thanks to Caro.

Is it meant to be a play on his size changing problems or is that how Masterpiece Grimlock's toy actually compares sizewise to Classics Overkill?

Nice Mosaic too. Always like when new or lesser known G1 characters get some screen time.

Yea, the sizes are fairly accurate in comparison. Good mosaic. Trypticon is so awesome with his forehead boner gun.
:CON:

No, you're not. I've said this several times in fact. I've never liked that figure as Grimlock (mostly for being too tiny and non-bulky enough) but it makes a perfect upgraded Overkill.

Bonus point for Trypticon stomping on them both. That made me laugh.
