So do I buy an extra to kitbash into Origins Bluestreak, or just have faith that they'll reuse the mold until they make him? Either way, waiting for a sale/clearance on Buzzworthy toys is usually a safe bet.

I say if you want Jazz get it as soon as he hit the shelves.
If you want a custom fodder, wait for the sale.
You never know what can happen with distribution and such.

It's interesting because I never once saw Cliffjumper in store nor had a chance to order online, that figure is just poof gone. Origins Bee was short supply in the beginning an due to when he arrived I was worried that figure would be tough to get so I bought the first one I came across. And even though more shipped and was available online for a spell, it never went on sale.
So while Buzzworthy might be so abundant and frequent were you reside that it goes on sale often, over her not so much.
I only need one figure of Jazz and have it preordered, I don't want to mess with hoping I find it in stores because my luck with that so far hasn't bee good at all. The only one I ever saw instore, after I bought online, was Silverstreak.

Yes it does seem to be very regional. I saw some pics online of Origin Bee at 50% off in some places. The best my area did wa 30%. I did end up getting one from a toy shop sometime later for around $15.
I have no interest in Jazz, despite it being an amazing figure. But I definitely will be getting Towline. I just hope they strike a balance. Toy terrorsaur and raw chicken Dinobot were way overproduced. The rest seems to be a pretty good balance. While Cliffjumper was way harder to obtain than Kup, I still did manage to see it a few times.

Origin Bee was very plentiful for a month or two, but it didn't hang around forever like the toy-accurate Kingdom guys. Jazz should be bought on sight, but I'm hoping he pegwarms until an Easter sale.

Oh, right, Cliffjumper. I forgot because I decided I didn't need him in addition to Earthrise, but I only saw his Buzz-figure once or twice. Easy to do after the mountain of Terrorsaurs and Dinobots that EVERY Target near me blew out to ring in the New Year, and I have at least 6 in a 20 mile radius. Guess I took for granted how lucky it was that they became the most reliable retailer after TRU went under. If I was strictly in WalMart country, I'd do all my collecting online too.Till-all-R1 wrote:It's interesting because I never once saw Cliffjumper in store nor had a chance to order online, that figure is just poof gone. I don't know what was wrong with the old style, leave to someone who always has to fix something that isn't broken. With jazz I assume it be similar to Bee and be a very small bot, which makes me think the should just package it in the Core box to create less waste! lol

Retail will never get it perfectly right, ever. Between too much stock and not enough, I preffer too much.
Re: Transformers Origin Jazz Out in the US

Part of the problem with Bumblebee was that a lot of people didn't see the value in it, being such a small figure in Deluxe packaging, people couldn't get past that and see how ridiculously complex that figure was. Once the diehards got theirs it didn't get any traction with most of the casual fans and parents. Jazz is going to seem like a much better buy, and unlike Silverstreak we aren't suffering from mold fatigue and he serves an actual proper purpose in some peoples' collections.

Hasbro finally announces the non-Studio Series ROTB toys that have thus far only been seen in leaks, and they're being released not in the main ROTB toyline but instead as Target-exclusive Buzzworthy Bumblebee toys!

Maybe it's an indirect commentary on the movie, but the only toy I want from this selection is the weaponizer duo. Tiny animals that turn into guns? Beast Wars meets Battle Masters? Sold.

The weaponizer scopry looks pretty good, but does he come with an extra smaller scorpion? Kind of odd. What's that for? Clearly not the sword.
Interesintg the the only toy reveal of Mirage we have at this point is the "main line" Mirage here, and its being released as an exclusive to Target under BWBB?
Anyway, looks good, the Porchse mode looks o.k. Granted, this is the unlicensed version. Will need to wait for the SS release for the Licensed one I suppose.

Hasbro has released new images of two Target exclusive Rise of the Beasts multipacks that will be released in the Buzzworthy Bumblebee line. Some of these deluxes had listings for individual releases so it's to be seen if only one character is exclusive within the 3 pack, or if this is how the deluxes will be released, or if there will be multiple releases of the same toys. Below is a blurb from Hasbro along with the specific product info. And at the very end, we have images of a Rise of the Beasts puzzle that has just been unveiled by Prowd_Design.

I know I highlighted Mirage and that Scorpion guy but it's also our first look at mainline deluxe BB and he looks good. I think he looks even better than the SS toy.

Cheetor is wearing shorts...
Come the F on.
But that Scorponok is a sure get when it will land in store. That is, IF it land in my local TrU.
I've yet to see any N.E.S.T Ratchet, Skullcruncher, or SS44 redux.
