I'm glad they're keeping Clancy Brown on voice duty.
I can keep pretending it's Lex Luthor in there.

Aw, Breakdown. I knew this was the inevitable outcome, but I'm just really sad we'll never see the real Breakdown again.
And more Smokescreen action!
And Bulkhead, fully recovered....damn.

Truth be told, if you think about it... He is not dead. Granted, he was disassembled and had his spark removed. But in truth, they never said that his databanks (if he has any) were deleted or removed. So he may be a husk now, but it does not mean that he is gone for good.
And besides... He could always do what Starscream's ghost did by crossing time and space, and may have inadvertently bonded with your Breakdown toy.

This episode gives additional purpose to the clip show "Grill" episode.
How? Two words: "Project Damocles".

I lone the idea of M.E.C.H being a third party to mix things up between Autobots and Decepticons, being a threat to both that is not Unicron. I hope that they somehow bring back Breakdown somehow with his old pals the Stunticons forming Menasor.Prime needs some Combiners and the Menasor is long overdue for a comeback. Maybe TFC after Uranus but they may work on Computron first. What would they call the Menasor project? Mercury or Janus? Wait a minute....Could M.E.C.H. convert more of its soldiers to would be transformers and make a combiner?

Now this reminds me of Diaclone, where the humans control the robots (mecha, in Japan). The toyline has the G1 toys before they were released as Transformers.
Here are examples of toys from the toyline:

Not much of a big example.

A real example would be the original Ratchet's toy, which has the shoulders in the wrong position, no back kibble and a seat instead of a face.

^ THIS!
I was thinking the same thing. Down to the mold e-HOBBY used to create Road Rage, as well as the homage Super-God Masterforce (possibly by coincidence) that can be explained when it comes to the Headmaster Juniors and Godmasters. But with the toy's... Nice examples! So I have nothing more to say about this.
Oh... And a piece of trivia: While both Ironhide and Ratchet generally share the same mold, and were sold by Hasbro in their 1984 line-up, they were Takara's 1985 mail-away figures. They also would not get an official set number until e-HOBBY's 2001 Collector's Edition.

Ok so is Silas actually inside of breakdown and has somehow integrated his human neural networks with the transformer shell of breakdown?

Developed by humans, put into use by Decepticons? Creepy, yet cool.
