Well, the finder, Christoph Prime, has an image of the toy in package with Target receipt. This is the first sighting we have heard of the toy at retail, in fact, we have all been wondering when we might see it, as many of us expected to see it come out with the Superion exclusive.

Since this is only one sighting, take it easy on the 'run out to Target now' trips, but if you are in the area of a Target it couldn't hurt to go in and check.

This toy was 1 of 2 found at a Target in Colorado.

Bruticus Maximus is a repaint of the Energon/Superlink toy of the same name, but the characters, for the most part, have names now that harken back to their Generation One counterparts more.

Hopefully these will be general release in the UK like Superion (the current TRU shelftag says combiner assortment) and I'll be able to pick up a couple of sets without any hassle. Now if Fans Project would be kind enough to sort out some new extremeties for the Combaticons and Constructicons...

FP and Hasbro have it in for my wallet... :?

I love the Superion kit but I'm having a hard time paying $20 bucks more than the whole set cost just for limbs .. I'drather have 2 different combiner sets.


What am I saying..I'll get the kit and Bruty.. #-o

Sweet he will make a good pair with superion but it will proboly take a few weeks to get to central california :sad: I hate that it takes along time to come to us :BOOM:

I may be tempted to get this guy for my classics collection--although I'm not sure my wallet can handle it with waves 4 and 5 deluxes and voyagers starting to pop up (not to mention I saw photos on another site that scouts Ejector and Nightbeat have been found!)

A friend of mine, said that he spoke to an Target employee and the release date for Bruticus was July 19th? did anyone find out the samething? if so, I'm hitting Targets all this week into the weekend...

Also can someone help with Bruticus DPCI number???

I've been to every Target in a 15 mile radius of me and came up blank. Apparently the guys at Target know about it but have no clue when its die in. I've been looking all over for this set as I REALLY want it.
