A teaser trailer for Transformers Universe, the online game currently under development by Jagex, has hit YouTube. The game is scheduled to debut in 2012, check out the tease trailer embedded below.

Really cool trailer. I still don't know about the transformers prime style for it though, still looks awesome. It better not just be for pc that'd be crap.

Ha ha, you're in for a surprise...

It's a browser based game. I.E., played in IE, firefox, Chrome, etc. I guess you could hop on the PS3 and *maybe* play through its browser. In fact, I wonder if it'll be compatible, XD

edit: back on topic: vague, cool teaser is vague. and cool. definitely a teasing teaser. :grin:

I hope it doesn't have to be purchased and downloaded before it can be played. In that mater I hope it'll be like the first Battle For The Allspark. But I also hope you can actually move and interact, not like in BFTA.

Well, yes I agree with you, BUT games JAGEX distribute is mostly PC. I haven't seen one game by JAGEX that is for the PS3,or Xbox. :-(

maybe I'm getting too old, but I sure am tired of teasers. I know they never show anything, but then, what's the point if you don't show anything?

Well i am really excited to play it, i am sure it is a PC game. Still i am not sure if it's purchase or download, free or not, however, i hope it will not suck...

assuming the game let's you design your own TF from a set of standardized templates with various mods, Hasbro could step up its profits by monetizing it via allowing players to purchase their customized bots, they could probably even charge third-party rates ($30-40 for deluxe, $60-70 for voyager) and you know people would swarm these! they need to do this before some third-party decides to do the same and eats their lunch. the investment in a such a modular system of TFs could reap huge rewards…
