Funnily enough this does seem to share a lot in common with the TLK deluxe. Hood chest, most of the car top hanging off his back like kibble, doors on his arms, the rest of him becoming the legs, his head being a faceplated dealio rather than the actual mouth he had in 2007... no idea where the head design came from though. Looks like a motorcycle helmet crossed with a baseball cap.

The TLK Deluxe doesn't have the doors on his arms. They're connected to the car roof and fold inwards into the backpack.

I just realised these line-ups represent part of each faction's cast in TLK. Megatron has Barricade, a guy called Onslaught and a dragon; while Optimus has Drift, Grimlock and a guy called Hot Rod. Uh, Rodimus. Uh... it counts!
Though then you've also got two other guys in there I can barely make out. I think that's Bludgeon's tank barrel peeking out under Megs and Onslaught, and is that Bumblebee in the background between Rodimus' legs?

Oh yeah Finally we have some G2 in EW but how they're gonna make Laser OP work in EW will be interesting and OH MY GOD Drift and Barricade YASSSS thank you Spaceape

Niiiice me get some G2 in EW finally but it will be interesting to see how they handle Laser OP in-game is he gonna be a variant of Prime or a completely new bot 
but that will be awesome 
and they'll probably do a reskin of him into Octane. also YAAAASSSS Drift and Barricade I need these i'm thinking Blurr will be a Reskin of Drift just like the toy was a Repaint/ Retool of him back in Generations 2010. but seriously when are Kup and Snapdragon coming

I'm still waiting for Straxus to become an available character. Why go to the trouble of creating a model and only use it for events?

He'll be a Leaderboard prize first (guessing in 2 weeks) and then eventually he'll rotate into the crystal line up.
That's the standard practice.

A brutal powerhouse, his word is law, and Straxus will go to any lengths to enforce his policies. Unfortunately, the law according to Straxus can change on a whim, and if you do run afoul of him, don't bother appealing for mercy - he has none. And the sentence is always a short, sharp blow from his battle axe.
Seismic Charge - Target a wall with a resonating seismic charge. The explosion dealsdamage for each wall within the radius, and quadruple damage to walls.

It's just their way of offering up a solution to time-trap bases.
HQ15 bases though ... you're still going to need a 4*. So the strong get stronger.

I just really want Hungurr. they've been teasing him and Kup for what 2 months and still nothing. We get a bunch of random other guys first that weren't really on the radar!

A week earlier than I said.
Question remains ... will it be a leaderboard event or a crystal event with the chance to get Slog/Straxus.
Neither are major characters and a lot of people are over leaderboard events these days so it'll be interesting to see which way the Apes go.

Arggggh I'm more than a little pissed that THIS Event isn't the one where you get Slog(Sludge) or Straxus 
but I have a feeling when they come Slogs gonna help me a lot when I try to Raid higher level Bases and with me that usually ends with a Crippling defeat but his ability looks like it can Wreck walls easy!

If its the event type where you earn crystals and that could net you a 2-4* character ... then perhaps THIS will be the event where I finally get a 4* character from the character event.
