Video Review - Generations Leader Class Jetfire

The transformation reminds me of RotF Leader Starscream. especially the arms.

Super excited for Jetfire. I do like him weaponless, so I don't mind the straight red chrome, and I imagine Takara's version will fix the issue.

Also, I don't find the engineering to be sub-par at all - for yet another plane that simply has robot bits at the bottom, the transformation seems fairly involved, even if not so difficult.

I am not as impressed as I hoped. It's okay, but not amazing.

Even though I'll probably get this already, I would love to see a Cybertron repaint of him.

I really don't mind the fauxpit or the backpack on this one, so much as I mind say, Voyager Prime's faux windshield or Prime Smokescreen's faux hood (the latter mostly because the figure looks very... flat, I guess is the best word to describe it. There's very little depth to the chest and there's not much backing it so the figure looks like its chest has been squished)

Awesome objective review, Baltmatrix. I agree with a lot of your points and those of other reviewers. It would be nice if the cockpit (not on the chest) opened, and those spaces in the arms and inner thighs are dreadful. Chrome too much... agreed. Will definitely get though. Always thought the Classics Jetfire was too darn short! This guy is supposed to carry them places? LOL. Keep it up man, will definitely subscribe on YouTube to your channel.

I kinda find it amusing that after years of bitching at Hasbro for the lack of chrome on modern Transformers, when they finally start adding it again, people are complaining about it.

They just can't win.

I don't mind the chrome, personally. But I think the complaints aren't about the chrome per se, but how the weapons deviate from the more nuanced deco that was advertised. Oh well. He still looks great to me.
