Thanks for the review. I love the car mode but not the bot at all. Why in the world could Hasbro not figure out a way to lock in the mid section of the figure and or not give him ridiculous feet as in years past. This really reminds me of earlier Bumblebees with the auto morph legs coming pretty much standard anymore. The weapon is also a complete joke. I like the matte finish black paint over the yellow, but just like the reviewer said the paint will likely rub off with multiple transformations. This is a mighty pass for me. I would love to see and ultimate Bumblebee in this mold with better attention to detail...that I would consider buying to put along side my other ultimate Bumblebee.

I actually quite like the look of Crosshairs. The idea of a robot in a trenchcoat is gloriously silly, and I think he pulls it off fairly well for a figure made on a relatively small budget. The car mode is perfectly adequate (I'm fond of the asymmetrical pattern) and the robot mode is actually fairly decent, lack of paint aside (which is easily fixable). My biggest gripe is that those rubber tabs look like they could tear off easily. Still, I applaud them for trying something so different, and aside from a few quibbles with the trenchcoat (and let's be honest, the fact they even tried a robo trenchcoat forgives that) the robot mode is pretty cool too.

Of course, I don't segregate my TFs into separate collections, following the Insecticomics approach to canon (completely ignoring it) so he'll make an excellent detective bot to hang out with my other Autobots.

Also, I can forsee a lot of fun with those 5mm weapons. Especially those pistols.

Nice review, but seriously. Why is it that every AOE leaked toy review I've seen, never compares them with the older movie figures??? Really, no offense but why would I care how he sizes up with none movie transformers?? And comparing them to other AOE figures doesn't help when we've seen countless pics of them together already...

Great view of this guy's kitchen. The focus on the tiles was perfect. Shame about that green blurry blob getting in the way all the time.

Actually now that I see Bumblebee in video form he's not so bad. I just wish he woulda focused his camera more in both his reviews. Also his walls seem to be melting every so often!

Vange1us's review shows that his torso can actually lock into place:

Vangelus has Crosshairs standing with the DOTM Wreckers.

I have to say I have some serious problems with some of the aspects of his bot mode. They would be deal-breakers normally but since I'm buying this for it's alt mode only and it will likely see robot mode 3 times in its lifetime, Hasbro is lucking out and actually getting enough out of me for 1 figure from their movie line.

Why not just buy a model of the vehicle then?

Can we start an online petition for Michael Bay to kill off Bumblebee in the 5th movie ?

Can't, he has to kill off characters people like, like Sideswipe, Ratchet, and Leadfoot.

Looks like the only one I like is Scorn. I think his robot and dino mode is the best of wave 1. :-?

Happy to say I do not have a Bumblebee in my collection (although my kids do have one each). I will not be adding this one either althought the paint job does look ok. I will wait and see if we get a US release of Masterpiece Bumblebee. :CON:

it's too bad they decided to take a rainbow colored dump on the dinobots. but.. i guess i could always get rid of the purple.. it's just a shame to think of all the painting i'm going to have to do to this line.

And Starscream :(

Wait he's killing those three off?

We have no confirmation of robot deaths, yet. We see Ratchet get fired upon and injured in the trailer, but that doesn't mean he dies.

Leadfoot (the filming vehicle) was seen on set twice, and being carted off on a trailer.

While Sideswipe isn't seen, it doesn't mean anything for sure at this point. We'll know more in June.

the Bumblebee mold looks pretty cool. stick a new head on it, and a different colourscheme (I'd be okay with the black, but maybe with a red or a blue?) and I'd consider getting it.

Keep the black, paint or dye the yellow red, put a new head on him and BOOM, you got Cliffjumper!
