Video Review - Transformers Generations Deluxe Jhiaxus

Got an email from TRU this morning. Jetfire has been pushed to October for release.

YouTube reviewer PaxCybertron just dropped by with a video review for Crosscut. A repaint of Skids from an earlier Generations wave with a completely new head mold. Will you be getting this figure? Works for me... but as far as the figure itself... meh. Don't have enough connection to the character. Might buy it just to keep it in package, toss in the attic, and sell in 5 years if it ends up being a rarity, but I'm not going out of my way to find it, either. He's not a "big" enough character to go in my Lost Light display (what all did he do, other than be name checked, after all?).

I think Crosscut is the better looking of the two characters from that mold.

He's made of silver plastic, not grey.

No such thing. And it doesn't look like he has metallic flake which is the main culprit of such brittle plastic.

If you want that mold, you are better off with this one than Skids. Skids has issues locking his panels in. We all know how much Ryan wants to show the best version of the toys in the galleries and even he couldnt get the darn doors to fit in properly



It looks like crosscut has fixed that particular issue. I dont want to own two similar molds that I dont absolutely adore (unlike some seeker molds) so in retrospect I would much rather have had this version of the mold than Skids (though his prices on e-bay do comfort my purchase).

Also take into account Skids has his upper legs misassmbled, and that the fix could potentially ruin it as the ball joints in the hips can snap off. Crosscut and Rollbar seem to have that fixed.

Probably a character I've wanted for a while to get a figure. Thecollector75 takes a look at the leader of the G2 Decepticons!
