Fellow Seibertronian chuckdawg1999 follows up our own photogallery of Transformers: Robots in Disguise warrior Quillfire with a video review of the spiky offroad activist, including some thoughts on the toy as usual. Check out both below!

Quillfire is an interesting figure. I'm not sure if I 100% like it due to a few nagging issues with the head, and wrists. The figure compacts even more for transformation becoming a really nice off-road type vehicle. If you're looking to complete the RID line I can give it a solid recommendation, other wise you might want to think about it a bit.

It finally hit me, what/who Quillfire looks like. He reminds me of a Battle Beast.

I loved me some Battle Beast. I wonder if I still have any :-?

Before anyone says it, yes I know Blizzard Strike Optimus Prime's shoulder pads are mistransformed in a few pics unfortunately.

I love the sudden influx of translucency in this line. Weapons, wheels, you name it. Kinda reminds of candy TBH..... NOM NOM NOM. :-D

And will we get a redeco of Windblade? And will it just be a repaint of Generations Windblade or a retool/-mold or a totally new mold? But the last one is very unlikely.

They should definitely make more Warrior class toys. Bisk would be very cool. And Underbite definitely needs a bigger version. Unfortunately they don't make Voyagers in this line but a three-step-change might as well be cool for him. And I would love to see a toy of that Decepticon combiner who's formed of those 6 spiders. But that won't happen.

Takara fixed the heel issue with Slipstream.

You can just use/buy the Generations version if you like her normal color scheme. A new R.I.D. Warrior Class version in the same colors would just be a waste of money.

Thing is: i would love it if they did that windblade up with a new shell that was the RiD version (they are identical except for aesthetic after all). and my current Windblade proudly stands with Metroplex as his city speaker

I really like the designs of the Decepticons in RID and I would like to see more of them get Toys, I'm glad that Hasbro finally released more Decepticons since the line was seriously lacking them. A Warrior class Skowl would be cool, Maybe a larger version of Clampdown and Underbite needs a larger toy. Perhaps Springload could get a better toy since the One-step really doesn't interest me.

Yeah, Skowl would be great. I'm totally good with Clampdown's Legends class figure but just scalewise a Warrior class would be cool. I like one-step-Springload's alt mode. Looks really cool. If they'll make a Warrior class that one would get the show accurate alt mode I guess but I prefer the present one.
A Warrior Hammerstrike would also be great.

What I just noticed is that they don't make toys of characters that do not appear in the show (except of Mini-Cons and Tiny Titans). They definitely do not need more Decepticons than there already are in the show. But with the Autobots they just repaint the crap out of them. :HEADHURTS:

Via fellow seibertronian Madeus Prime, We now have new images from the Robots in Disguise Mobile App Game that shows us some potential new characters-Chief among them a legion Groundpounder!-along with some already revealed characters. Now as you all remember, we have seen screen shots from the games before and this has led to some new toys, so while this does not confirm any new toys it does give us potential looks at possible toys. I'm very interested in the new weapon type Mini-Cons.

On this site he's listed as Bludgeon but I saw that Bludgeon actually is packed in that new Battle Pack with Optimus Prime and that one is also black but just a normal Cyclone, not a weapon type.

Is it sad that I just watched the reviews of the decepticon hunter packs and I kinda want the Optimus and (when he comes out) Grimlock? Not to mention Crazybolt cause he is just crazy and It clicks with me?

Yeah, Optimus looks really cool in his Energon armor. And I hope that the deployer gimmick works on Crazybolt better than on Overload.

Just in case anyone missed it in my other review, and by the numbers it looks like they have; in the shoulder of Optimus Prime from the Minicon Battle pack there's a slot, this allows the ax to be stored in vehicle mode. Very close to the Warrior Class version.
I just picked up BP OP this weekend (about to drop some pics in my neck of the woods) and I noticed that as well. As a bonus the axe can also store in "super axe" mode. And if you're feeling real froggy, you can shove the axe in his backpack.

The super Ax mode is very flimsy on mine so I never tried storing it like that. I see Hyperchange Blizzard Drift, but I never saw a normal version of Drift as a Hyperchange figure. Did I miss something?

I wonder what size some of those RID toys might be - they look fairly basic so I'm strugling to think what size class they would fit in some case they could be either Minicons or Legions for example.

If you're talking about the battle packs that come with a minicon, then cyberverse size. OP scales great with the legion autobots.

That OP is really cool, I'd recommend him. I'm excited for the BP Grimmy as well Crazybolt.

The round minicons are quickly becoming my favs.

Haven't seen any of the new stuff 'round here. But they lack too much articulation for me to buy them right now - with my financial situation as it stands. I got my 'cute' unarticulated figures back with the mini-cons in Armada, but I'm looking into Dragonus :-?

Fair enough. Dragonus is one of the better ones. Which is kinda funny, because it was one of the ones I held off on the longest. The single packs are easy pickups for lil fun bots. I'm holding off for sales for the other deployers I don't have (will probably make an exception for Crazybolt).

4. Ratbat - looks like a twisted mutant robot vampire bat
3. Beastbox - I just like the menacing design

I have yet to get any minicons, but I am waiting out individual releases of the ones the come with Drift and Fracture and get them at the same time as their brethren. plus the weapons minicons I want those

The next time you see the catalogue, take a pic with your phone. We could then news it and give you credit. What you found could have been pretty cool but we would need a pic to news it.
