If you just can't get enough of the third instalment to TakaraTomy's Alternity toy line, then Youtube reviewer Peaugh has taken videos of both figures. Both listed as Alternity A-03, Bumble (Champion Yellow) and Cliff (Red Pearl) take the forms of a Suzuku Swift. You can check both of them embed in this news post or linked to Youtube below.

Bumble

Cliff

Great, now I'm thinking about getting one again.

Does this reviewer have anything to say other than 'nice' and 'very nice'? He seems to say that a lot. And why does his Classics Cliffjumper have more of a buckety head than mine? Is it the FP upgrade?

Very nice look at the details. I'm always impressed by the attention to alt mode interior details in the Alternity(and BT/Alternators), especially when one considers that this is not a car replica but a Transformer. I admit that I'm a leg guy and I also admit that I'm smitten by Alternity Bumble's leg transformation. Heck, I'm loving the entire transformation design of the figure. Most seem to not like chubby Bumble but I won't give up on the guy! I'll be buying one and maybe a Cliff figure too. :)

It looks like he has the FP head for Classics CJ.

I hate to say it but Peaugh's video of Cliffjumper almost convinces me to get him. If he goes on sale later on, I may cave.

I agree with Peaugh, G1 Bumblebee and Cliffjumper are just as fat these guys. Also, going by the size they should be in perfect scale (robot mode wise) for a Masterpiece and Alt/Binal collection. Just ordered them.

You and me both. I don't normally watch video reviews, but I thought this figure would be so bad, that it would be interesting to hear and see it talked about at the same time.

I may reconsider, because he's right, the perspective of the chest in pictures does not give credit to the depth, only the width of the chest.

That, and the comparison to Bumblebee's G1 toy made me realize that his a pretty faithful, yet modern update of the original toy which intrigued me.

At this point, what's really holding me back are the feet which seem to be an issue in all the reviews I've seen, but mostly that I just can't exactly figure out how this will fit into my limited display area. They're really too tall to be with Alternity Megatron and Convoy, and way too tall to fit in with Classics figures.

That's what got me too.

And somehow, that big fat belly does look a little better in hand and in motion than in pictures. I also noticed little details I hadn't before, like the knee pads that swivel out a bit, I think it helps the appearance of his legs.

I might just get this guy after all, if I can find someplace cheaper than BBTS.

I'm hoping that HLJ has a post holiday sale with free shipping, which it most likely will since it held two recent sales with free shipping seemingly due to success from an earlier free shipping sale in September. If HLJ does hold such a sale, I'm going to get Alternity Bumble, if it's still in stock. :)

Yay! My internet connection has been down since late Friday night so I only saw HLJ's e-mail this morning. Happy times. :)
