Unicron's assault on Cybertron seems unstoppable. Primus, the Transformers' creator, is dead, and now the combined armies of Autobot and Decepticon are being crushed under his heel. Even the Neo-Knights seem impotent, especially the the most powerful but robophobic Circuit Breaker. She has suffered a complete mental collapse at the presence of so many mechanoids, and is now a gibbering wreck. Can the arrival of an Ark-load of revived Autobots, lead by Grimlock, tip the balance?
