As OPTIMUS PRIME unifies all of the AUTOBOTS for one final strike against IACON, ULTRA MAGNUS confronts a rejuventaed SHOCKWAVE about recent events, but when he threatens retaliation, SHOCKWAVE'S only response comes from the barrel of his gun. Unbeknownst to either, this tracherous act is broadcast throughout the entire city by STARSCREAM who, with the aid of his unlikely ally SOUNDWAVE, has taken control of the monitor womb. Soon, an enraged PRIME storms the tower to find ULTRA MAGNUS seconds from death. With is dying words, MAGNUS reveals a secret chamber leading to the ancient supercomupter known as VECTOR SIGMA; but before PRIME can investigate further, he is attacked and defeated by SHOCKWAVE, who achieves his final goal: Possession of the mystical artifact known as the MATRIX...
