Thanks to our friends and guru's at The Spacebridge and Transformers At The Moon - www.transformertoys.co.uk we are proud to showcase a previously unknown preproduction alternate deco for Scorponok. This awesome alternate deco may have at one point been a consideration for the Italian market, via distribution through GiG under license from Takara directly in 1987. We hope you enjoy it and look forward to providing you with more awesome reveals in the future.

its kinda like when you ask who's your favourite bond and usually it's the first one you watched.. but yeah i'm glad the original colour scheme won over this.
Though I can see it fit in the G2 line...

I remember my friend had one of these growing up. His uncle worked for Hasbro. Kept it right next to his cases full of G2 Technobots. The 90s were crazy.

The Italian 90s were weirderer, I feel.
We tried so hard...

If it was anyone else that posted that I would have thought they were a kid on the playground trying to 1-up their friends.
I like it, it's G2-good neon, not Actionmaster Thundercracker bad neon.
Interesting how regular Scorponok is cropped out of the same shot. Would be nice to see the whole image, it looks like he as some crazy alt mode in the first image
That looks almost like metallic copper instead of orange, I wonder how well that would hold up over the years?

Wasn't there a KO in a odd colour scheme a long time ago too ?
I agree this would be nice for a G2 / Euro Era Scorponok deco.
(I say Euro era so he can keep the G1 logos and still be a bonkers colour)
