Is there a review for this figure somewhere on the site? I've searched with no success, but I'm using my iPhone and it's not the easiest thing to do. If someone could point me in the right direction I'd be grateful.

i dont recal any reviews for gigatron/megatron/galvatron. i will say that it is one of my favorite molds. with up to 10 forms that he can shift into, he even beats sixshot on adaptibilty. hes actually being used as sixshot in my neo g1 display. out of his mentioned 10 forms id say about 8 are pretty solid. the forms are a robot, a bat, a jet, a car, a 2 headed dragon, a hand (yea, a giant hand), an elephant, a boat, a bird like dinosaur, and a 4-legged dragon. some are easy to transform into, some are not, but all in all, its a real good figure. im not entirly convinced that this figure is worthy of the name Megatron (the RID character certainly wasnt), but it is worth having.

Technically, only RiD Megatron/Galvatron and CR DEVIL Gigatron can transform into ten forms. Car Robots Gigatron is restricted to six because the mold wasn't meant for the other four.

Hasbro used the Devil Gigatron mold for both RiD characters.

There used to be reviews. I know cause I wrote one. But Ryan took them down in the reset of the site and I'm guessing he hasn't decided what to do with them yet.

American Megatron/Galvatron as was said both can transform into the 10 modes.
Purple,Black / White,Black

The Car, Jet, Griffin, Hand and 2 headed Dragon modes are the better ones, Gargoyle/Bat, Elephant, Boat and Flying Dragon mode are the weakest ones.

He's got a very menacing looking robot mode, and his bladed Sword/missile launcher/double bladed staff weapons is just mean.

Very poseable, very cool. He also happens to be the only New mold the Decepticons/Predacons got for that line.

One more thing: The missiles have been rounded off for the US releases. The Japanese ones look more like in the animation.

Are there any QC issues that are different between Gigatron and Megatron? I found Gigatron on BBTS, and he's significantly cheaper than Megatron.

As was said Gigatron can only transform into the Original 6 modes, while Megatron can transform into all 10.

Other than that they are the same, even down to the copious amounts of chrome.
