Maybe for the base. It will mostly be scratchbuilt. Plasticard and sculpting, me thinks.

Thanks!

Yep, I use http://exoforce.lego.com/en-us/Products/Default.aspx and http://bionicle.lego.com/en-us/products/toa%20mahri/8910.aspx pieces for the endoskeleton.

Maybe a few modifications here and there can make him transform?

No. Only the frame. Go back to post #1 and read the full description of what was used.

Revell is a brand that makes model kits and paints. I use their enamils for my repaintings, and I have a couple of their aircrafts. Sturdy, light and not too challanging.

Humvee is the vehicle. Shame you couldn't find a Belkan.

I found a 1:35 scale Japanese military vehicle that was pretty close, but it had a metal body. Too small and hard to cut into a million little pieces.

You know, you've got me thinking about trying something like this with LEGO Slizer parts. Perhaps when I'm not so busy, I'll cobble together someone transformable and hope it appears as good as one of yours. Oh the plans are already racing through my mind.

Here's an update. The body is pretty much finished. Needs a few more details, but it's basically finished. The head is the last thing to be finished. The head in the pic is just a placeholder for now.

This guy was a lot of fun to work on so far. Thanks for taking a look and for any comments you might like to share.
