1980's Generation 1 Toys R Us Store Setup Question

I know this is totally a corny question...but I've seen on here some people work or have worked at Toys R Us so maybe you can help...I'm curious if there is documentation or maybe people can recall from memory the setup Toys R Us would use for their Transformers section from 1984-1986? I was 4,5, and 6 from 84-86 so best I can remember is mini-bots, combiners, cassettes, etc. on pegs and the shelves being autobot cars, mid-size boxes, and bottom shelf being Optimus Prime, large-size boxes, and top high shelf being things like Decepticon Jets, etc. I could be wrong, I am looking to build some shelves for all my G1 packaged Transformers and thought it would be cool to recreate the same exact setup TRU had, let me know if anyone can help, thanks!

Unfortunately I'm a bit too young to remember, but that is a really awesome idea for a display. If you're ever able to do it you should totally post pictures!
