so 2 weeks apart, i had masked men with pistols rush in my house between 12 midnight and 1 am pointing pistols anyellin for everyone to get down on the floor. first group got me for $3000 and a laptop. the second group got me for $1500 my ps3, my DS, and my other laptop. Needless to say i've moved now, but this was some scary ****.

this is scary.

The neighborhood I used to live in was much the same, only I've never had nice stuff like you did. The best they got was my Walmart microwave and my 30" plain ol' non plasma TV. I didn't have the money to move, either.

Now you know, perhaps, why I put such great faith in shotguns. Your basic single barrel with buckshot, the classic boomstick.

Here's how it went down at good ol' Peachtree Lane:

(Sound of methheads breaking in.)

(Sound of me racking a round in the shotgun.) (Verbal announcement that it's completely legal in that state to shoot to kill anyone in one's home in the act of committing a felony.) (Occasional addition of tidbit that as a female, at any time I can claim I was in fear of sexual assault, which also allows me to shoot to kill.)

(Sound of methheads leaving in a hurry).

Three or four rounds of this and they figured it out.

Sorry for the stress, though. I know what *that* feels like. And it's not nice to be the kind of not-nice person who threatens to kill other people.

Good lord! Do you live in Compton? Unfortunately you lost some stuff (renters/homeowners insurance?). Luckily you were not hurt or killed.

Apparently this is going on all over the place. In my hometown there were some guys that were just going up and down the streets breaking into houses for like two weeks straight.

this was in california. bout 20 miles away from San Francisco. The news said they laid off a bunch of cops and district attorneys, and they can't prosecute assualt, battery, possesion, and a bunch of other charges.

moved to a nicer place for the next 3 months. then i'm lookin for a place of my own again

move to ohio there are not that much TF fans here. and nothing bad has happened to me here so u might be safe here.

You do realize Cleveland, Youngstown, and Akron are hellholes with a lot of violence right?

This was happening 2 towns over from where I live the past few months. There were about 10 home invasions over 4 or 5 weeks before the Police finally stopped the guys. Go Levittown!

yes i know. my family might be moving with me as well to Georgia or canada. but i dont want to relocate.

I've had my garage broken into twice. First time, I was gone on Labor Day weekend (forgot to lock garage and keys were in my car, my fault) and some high school punks came in and and stole one of the amps out of my stereo in my Mustang. That was only worth maybe $100 since it was an older model amp. Battery was dead in it so they didn't get away with the car. Then back in January, they broke in again. This time the garage was locked up, so they first tried drilling out the deadbolt on one of the doors (idiots). When they found out they couldn't get that done, they just kicked the door in. I guess the person who put the door frame in forgot to nail it down because they kicked the whole thing in. This time they got away with the CD player in my Mustang. Since the window in my car was stuck down they had an easy time getting into the car. They busted apart my dash and cut the wiring harness out to get the CD player. Plus they tried to steal the car (still had a dead battery) because the outside of the ignition switch was busted off. Caused about $1k in damage on top of the $300 CD player they got away with. Apparently the cops have had trouble with the alley my garage is facing and only on that side of it and only in a 4 block stretch.

I hope they catch these guys and get your stuff back to you, N_V.

DId you think to upgrade your security after the first break in?

And recently, some guy when ape poop in my home town and shot dead a cop and shot a bunch of other people. He lived right around the corner from where my sister used to live and the whole area was put in lock down - in fact, you could see my sister's old house on the news as it was so close.

As it was, the guy who got killed, I was good friends at school with his niece.

Criminals are bastards.

I'm still mad as hell at the scum who stole my Palisades Nemesis.
