I think most fans assume Needlenose won, as for the announcement...? There's a little over 10 hours left in the day (Assuming EDT based on where Hasbro's HQ is), but they could save it for an early morning reveal at SDCC tomorrow.

Personally I believe that of all the *fan polls*. I've never participated because I don't have FB, but just by coincidence, the one I wanted to win in 2016 (Trypticon) actually was the winner, the rest...not even close.

Had Needlenose won, I would have accepted it. I have no particular reason to not have him made. However, I did pick Runamuck because I wanted a Cybertronian mode Battlecharger (even though now as a stowaway, he might not actually even be that).

Going by this forum, I would have thought Needlenose was going to win, but hey...not everybody who votes is on this forum. It doesn't have to be a conspiracy.

Warden even talked about Star Saber potentially coming in interviews he gave prior to POTP's release.

I don't buy in to the conspiracies about the votes, someone would have raised the flag at some point, especially with how many they've done. Think of all the people who would have been in on it, and they've all been loyal? Even the ones who no longer work for hasbro? Nah simplest solution is that the votes are legit and that runamuck got a last minute surge.

I would more put that down to Warden's G1 bias only giving up one spot to Beast Wars. I wish Star Saber or Thunderwing had won, since they would have worked with the gimmick better than Primal. Although we'll probably still see them down the road.

Honestly? I think the only "rigging" Hasbro did to this poll was padding the choices with obvious also-rans. The Battlechargers do have their fans, plus they were show characters. I think Needlenose would be a more likely choice for "predetermined winner" if there was one, on account of SIEGE Spinister.

And remember, these polls are really more survey polls than "winner take all" polls.
