3rd Arcee Bike Toy???
Starting a new thread, because previous Arcee bike toy threads haven't been seen in months.
I am starting to get really annoyed about this (well, as annoyed as I get about a toy, really...).
We now have ROTF NEST toys comings out. A good number of them.
We have Human Alliance toys, with two simplistic versions of the 2 previous Arcee bikes.
We have a legends class Arcee bike coming out.
We have Power Core Combiners coming out (whether or not that image that is out there now is real, the trademark is real).
Yet, we don't even have a prototype of the 3rd Arcee bike out there anywhere???

Clearly Hasbro, like me, doesn't really care about it. The sales of the two bikes was probably crap because their figures were pretty crap to begin with. There isn't any rush to get the third bike out, and if there is a wait, then that's good. It means Hasbro is trying their best to get the figure just right.
If worse comes to worse it'll be released in the TF3 toy line.

God, they should've just done a reissue of 2007 Arcee. That one's about a billion times better than the unicycles.
Not caring about scale since 1984. Just like Hasbro.

No, the worst thing that could happen is that they cancel the third bike and abandon the whole combiner concept, leaving you with 2 odd-looking figures.

Well that is one of the concept arts for the 3 combined form, the toy could be doing this... or not...
Anyways I'm still waiting too.. I bought the other 2 bikes cause I heard of the combined form so the 3rd one better come out in the next wave... (after all the NEST stuffs)

This is precisely the reason I'm wary of TF's that are introduced as twins, triplet, quadruplets, or any combination that requires you to buy them all, or the collection becomes incomplete. Probably the same reason why designers like to make them, too
That said, I caved and ended up buying Chromia and Arcee after watching ROTF.
Just hope they'll actually come up with an Elita-1/Flareup some time soon.

Which is why I haven't gotten Chromia or Arcee yet. It really does bug me that there's no info on the third one, because part of me knows I'll end up collecting the movie characters again(though I don't have the same enthusiasm I did when I FINALLY started collecting ones from the first movie).
If the third Arcee bike does come out though I hope they offer a triple pack for those who didn't get the first two, like me. It'd be a lot easier, though with the prices of certain multi-packs today, it would cost like $35, at least.
But yeah, if I did know there was going to be a third one, I'd rush out and get those two because they can combine.

it'll probably be released in an expensive exclusive multi-pack with repaints of terrible figures no one would want

I was actually going to post the very same question myself. Neither hide nor hair seen of this will-o-e-wisp. I assumed that people have given up long ago, and concluded it was obvious Hasbro isn't ever going to release a third one. Because of all these new waves (we've just had yet another new wave with repaints and the Nest figures in Singapore) with absolutely nothing pre-empted for the 3rd bike. The Bludgeon Voyager class has a catalog on the newest ROTF figures, and nothing at all.

But not all upcoming figures. That's why I'm keeping up hope until the line is definitely over.

I'm hoping for a a white and pink repaints of all 3, though I doubt that'll happen.
I as well am holding off on the bikes. I want to see the combined form before I make an kind of commitment. I guess cause it didn't see screen time it's not a priority for them.

But a lot of ROTF figures did not even see screen time yet they are made available and they are new molds.. And yet there is also scrapper who also has only 1 scene in robot mode did not made it into a toy.. besides the ez collection and the supreme devy.. but all the other 4 constructicons got their deluxe and vogayer toys.. I just hope that the 3rd bike gets releases since at least they(Hasbro) promised that there would be a 3rd..

Re: 3rd Arcee Bike Toy???
I'm quite happy with the two bike toys I already have. Chromia and Arcee have their detractors, sure... but considering their Deluxe-class size and how weird they actually looked in the movie itself, I think Hasbro did quite a good job on them.
Remember, every single wave has to have a couple of new moulds in there somewhere - we don't know what's on the horizon after the Lockdown/Brawn wave so I wouldn't rule anything out just yet.
I bought the first two bike sisters on their own merits as toys, NOT because there might be some potential future combined mode that - lest we forget - never actually featured in the movie itself. If the third bike gets released, then great, bring it on.
But I won't shed any tears if we don't see it, nor will it in any way lessen my enthusiasm for the bike sisters I already own.

I do want the 3rd bike to come out, even if only for completion of the set. But I doubt it will be released. The first two packages had absolutely no reference to the combined form or ability whatsoever, meaning Hasbro designed it, thought it sucked, and bailed on the concept. Sad really, because my collection is lacking in vaguely humanoid unicycle bots.

Re: 3rd Arcee Bike Toy???
Why exactly would Hasbro bother to go through all the extra trouble to create a combined mode that doesn't exsist?
Arcee after all never combined with her sisters in the movie and died (well one of them died I was never quite clear on who was what bike.) so there's no way to create a combined form in the future.
Technically all Hasbro really had to do was make 3 recolors so we should be lucky Arcee and Chromia have slightly different molds and not worry so much about this rumored combined mode that doesn't really exsist.
So where and who is that 3rd bike anyway?

The combined mode does exists, conceptually:
http://www.stevejung.net/gallery/displayimage.php?album=4&pos=1
I know what your thinking, concept art is one thing, but there's no way they were planning on integrating that into the movie right?
Well they actually were. If you look on the second disc(Special Features) of the "Revenge of the Fallen" DVD, there's a pre-biz(basically very rough 3-D animation, very similar to storyboards) that actually shows the three bikes combining, and Sideways transforming a second time. Sideways fires some previously unknown arm missles, blasts some soliders, and fires some missles at Sideswipe(all miss) before transforming back into car mode and getting chopped in half.
It's in the feature called "Deconstructing Visual Bayhem" and under the chapter "Lamborghini Jump". Yeah, I guess they orginally concieved of Sideways as a lambo. Which would have made Sideswipe chopping him in half ironic?
But unfortuneately, the combine form of Arcee only shows up for a split second in the animation(if that), and doesn't do anything. As I said though, it is just a rough storyboard, so had they actually incorperated it, she/they might have done more.
Arcee also combines in the novelization of the book, and the Comic Book adaptation by IDW. Finally, I guess the third bike is named Elita-1: http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Elita-1_%28ROTF%29
Yeah TF Wiki is a Wiki, but it's VERY informative, and most information from there is pretty accurate.
All in all, the combined mode does exist in a couple of different media, and since the toys may still be able to combine, that's why we want to know when and if the third bike will come out.
