A line that should be replaced
Ok when megs is chasing sam and demands that he give him the allspark when they are on the roof, when sam says no megatron replies "Ohh, So unwise" but i think it would be a better g1 tribute for that line to be replaced with "Such heroic nonsense." in reference to the g1 shuttle massacre

they should have combined both quotes.
Megs: Is it fear or courage that compells you fleshling?... Why risk your life so recklessly for such heroic nonsense?...Give me the allspark and you may live to be my pet!"

It never felt like Megatron to say he could live as his pet.
Megatron: Surrender the allspark, human, and I may just give you a quick death. Resist and I will make you suffer much more then you could ever imagine.

I didn't like how he kept calling him, "boy!"
If you've ever seen the movie 'Phantasm' the main bad guy also chases a kid around and keeps calling him "Boy", plus the voice sounds alot like Megatron in the new TF movie. I actually can't watch that scene without thinking about Phantasm.

Which line should be replaced?
No question...
The "masturbation" one.
That was the one horrible thing in an otherwise awesome movie. I absolutely cringed when I heard that. It was not only vile and ill-warranted for a movie that they should have known would be mobbed by pre-adolescents, but it totally ripped me out of being immersed in the thrill of a Transformers movie.
It didn't belong in this movie at all.

I agree about the masterbation thing. It did pull me out of the movie because it seemed to weird for her to be asking that in a black out. What kind of mom, drunk or not, asks her son that?

indeed - it was a big mistake. This film was supposed to be suitable for younger viewers. I'm amazed Hasbro didnt demand it was removed

Blame Micheal for that; Spielberg does the SFX, Michael does the puns and cums...

lol Yeah, I used that line on my friend a few times. xD Ratchet and his humor, heh.Malikon wrote:that's true, but I gotta admit when Ratchet said, "The boys pheremone levels suggest he wants to mate with the female." I laughed. I loved the uncomfortability of such a situation.
Plus I wouldn't mind mating with her myself.

the difference between the G1 animated Transformers movie and the Transformers 2007 flick? More humans. In the animated one, there are like, around a hundred Autobots and Decepticons while the 2007 flick is the total opposite (more than possibly a thousand human casts).

aww c'mon, you don't want to hear that cheesy, "You Got The Touch!" song redone by *place cheesy pop band o' the moment name here* while Prime fights Megatron?
C'mon, you know you do.
_______
Actually the musics the only thing I can't stand about that movie. The '86 one. I like the score on the new one.

Yesh, I guess that is why some people say that as the generation gets later, the audience starts to demand more jazz, pop and they are like people who wants more junk food, or oily food instead of good food nowadays. People, they never know what is good for them.

So I'm not the only one who was reminded of Phantasm by that part. lol Yeah, he really did sound like Angus Scrim at times.

maybe it was sarcasm, i like the following: give me the cube and your death shall be quick and painless...

Call us your hat, America, but you'll never have Prime dollars!

Or maybe Megatron was just being smart.
What would be more likely to entice Sam to give Megs the cube? A choice of:
A) Life vs. Death
or
B) Death vs. Death
Even if it is a quick and painless death, any living creature with self-preservation in mind is going to want to chose the option that, you know, KEEPS THEM ALIVE.

The whole "Cool mom!" part, including the SUV coming to a screeching halt. Replace it with more Bonecrusher action!

I think the "Oh, so unwise" thing works better than "Such heroic nonsense". Megatron doesn't think Sam's trying to be heroic. He thinks Sam's just being STUPID.
Life can be pretty sweet when your alt-mode is a B-2 Stealth Bomber.
And for those of you who are wondering... I'M A GIRL!
