A Little Help

Postby parsonii » Sun Mar 20, 2011 4:35 am

Hello all,

I was wondering if there was a price difference on the beast wars deluxe transmetals II vs the transmetals 2.

My apologies in advanced if this is an over asked question. I did try to use the search function first before posting. Other than finding out that the II was the 1998 release I didn't find what I was looking for.

My question was generated by a chance to pick up some figures that I liked but wasn't sure about the variation.

Thanks for any help

Beast era items are not my strong point by any stretch of the imagination, but in terms of pricing, do a completed items search on eBay. That should hopefully give you a tough idea of what they are changing hands for.

There are very little concrete rules as far as vintage TF pricing goes, sorry I can't be of anymore help.

I'm not a big fan of beast wars but I do know about pricing. The one that's oldest will stretch higher in price. Another way something will stretch in price is if it's not out yet, like DOTM toys on eBay

There should be little to no price difference as the II vs 2 was just a stylistic running change in the packaging for the later releases. The figure bar a few minor paint differences should be identical. Dinobot is one of the clearer examples having not 2 but 3 releases with slight paint differences between them.
