I've only noticed roadkill smelling like skunk if its a roadkilled skunk.
Otherwise, Skunk is... unique. Can't really think of anything similar.
The best I can do by way of describing it would be to note that it tends to have a sour, acrid, quality.

This reminds me of this one time my neighbors cat stalked a skunk down in our back yard, and got sprayed in the middle of its face. We thought of trying to scare the skunk away, but watching the whole thing play out was just too much fun.

Had to deal with skunk bit. Bleach,and lots...hotter the better.
Spray and douce. Harsh in the beginning,but works. Wouldn't
use bleach or automotive application...hell for the you and
the car.

Funny thing was that it wasn't the smell that bothered me, but the intensity. They say that if you smell it for too long, you nose shuts down until you leave the area for a while.
