The others have been here for a while. The insecticons moved but that Prime is just sitting. That they all have security strips I'm sure doesn't help either.

Am I the only one who thinks that CW Armada Megatron looks terrible? Giving him the shapes of G1 Megatron's body totally strip him of how awesome his initial design was.

Oh, I didn't think about the fact thay it may bum out MISB collectors. I was more thinking along the lines of they can't be STOLEN that easely, thus they remain on the shelves. :-?

I think the opposit simply based on the alt mode. The alt mode only homages Armada Megatron of the two.

That is definitely a first. Maybe we will eventually get swerve and acid storm which have yet to make an appearance in Canada.

Usually, as far as MPs and Platinums are concerned, they used to not last a month in store. When MP Optimus (MP-10), MP Soundwave, and the latest MP Grimlock re-issue came out, ALL AT 100/125$CAN, they got cleaned out extremely fast. By collectors, and many scalpers, due to all of them popping up on Ebay really fast and at double or triple the price.

The latest collector items may not really shelfwarm, but you gotta admit that selling them for DOUBLE the price of similar item used to go for, like only last year, it put some serious breaks on the sale speed.

Really? I got swerve at a Toronto Target back in summer 2014.

There's a TRU attached to the subway station that I use every day so I check in regularly. Somehow I keep getting toys with minor defects (has Hasbro QC really dropped this much or am I just unlucky?) But I love seeing stuff coming in. I had to argue with TRU to sell me the Dead End I got today because he wouldn't scan (American version) And I had to hold off on buying them all. Offroad looks good in person, while Breakdown doesn't. I really wish more American toys got accidentally shipped to Canada. Pack-In comics beat "collector's cards" any day. I want this entire line. I'm not sure if I can afford to get all the combiners coming out though...

My local TRU is a block down the street from me so it's dead easy to stop in. Punch postal code V3T 1N9 into google maps, and you can see how close it is.

While i'm fine taking a quick look and saying hi to the staff that recognize me, I just don't enjoy doing it more than a couple times a week.

I'm there to shop after all, not hang out.

For a baffling long time, Walmart had not updated their Transformers selection online. Well, today, they are offering Wave 1 of combiner wars as well as both leader megatron toys. And the later are 5$ cheaper than Toysrus.
