See, I figure, I was planning on paying $60 + tax anyway, so paying what would be an extra $5 or so to not have to go to Wal*Mart is worth it.
MP Starscream is only $48.88 plus tax at Wal-Mart. The two I bought came to $103.63.

I felt that the $70 was a tad steep. If I bought the figure from Wal-Mart, the price would be $48.88 no more than that. No sales tax in my state.

I don't normally post here, and I didn't really buy a toy.
However, I got a lil something today that I've been looking for for a while. Silly yea, but, with the sleeve, it is some semblance of a grail.

I'm well aware of how much they are. But the closest Wal*Mart to me is about 10 miles, and I don't have a car, so I have to ride my bike there. So, paying an extra fifteen dollars to save me all the time and effort it would take, in addition to not having to directly give money to Wal*Mart or go inside one is worth it to me. Especially since I've already saved up $65 for him anyway, since that's how much it was going to be anyway.

G1 Grimlock I think. I don't think it's a KO because there's the original 1986(?) receipt inside the box from the previous owner.
Even if it is a KO I'm still gonna treat him well. Is he supposed to come with a sword? (EDIT: Blarg checked the contents of the box, seems like I'm missing several things. Doh!)

I picked up, from the Movie Line:
Deluxe Final Battle Jazz (because I'm losing hope for Autobot Jazz...)
Deluxe Dropkick
I've heard too many good comments for Dropkick to just pass him up again. I got him, and he really is a fun little bugger. Can't think of a negative comment for him (except the "claw bed" thing he has...but he's better off without it anyway).

i picked up voyager ironhide tonight at target along with another '08 concept bumblebee. i was just about to go the ebay route but low and behold a random 9:45pm stop to target = toy goodness. i have to say that ironhide is prolly my favorite movie toy atm. he's brand spanking new and all but his transformation is really cool and he looks totally bad ass in his 'bot mode.

So my wife keeps dropping not so subtle hints and questions about Ultimate Bumblebee to me ever since I mentioned that people have been able to score him on clearance at Target. We've both been looking whenever we go to Target but I haven't really been going out of my way to find one. The last time I saw one on shelves I scanned one and it wasn't on clearance yet. So today on her lunch break she went to Target by her work and picked one up and went to check out. Before the girl scanned it my wife said that other Target stores have been clearancing them out and asked if they can price match the clearance price from another Target. The cashier asked her manager if they could, she said yes but they were going to call another store and see what price they were clearancing them out at. The manager finally came back and told the cashier to ring it up at......$13.98. My wife speculates that whoever the manager called just looked at some random tag for any ol' non-Ultimate Bumblebee and told the manager that price. So its nice to get such a sweet deal on Ultimate Bumblebee but we're going to wait until Christmas and put it under the tree as a family present from Santa.

If you are a member of Cost Co, you can get Ultimate Bumblebee for $60. It comes with a Titanium version of Bumblebee.

lol I would rather have a U BB for 13 than 60... the targets that I went to here in sacramento still have them at regular price.
