ah, but the good news is, there is a local seller here who just imported this baby to his PC parts store. never knew he was into Soul of Chogokins, RAH (Real Action Heroes), and other high-end collectibles also. sold it for me for roughly $300 give or take a few bucks, MISB. :D

i coulda fully paid for it but i still have an Energon set coming from another collector and that one cost me a bundle, so the seller (who's also a friend) let me pay for it in installments. hopefully i could pay it all by Christmas, would make a tidy 'lil present for myself.

oh, and i completely forgot, i also got a Cyb. Defense Hot Shot and Voyager TFTM Ironhide last week. November's lookin' good so far. can't wait for next year.

The final wave of Movie Robot Heroes. And just in case I already posted that...

I used my Thanksgiving holiday pay to pick up Darth Vader Death Star.

Huzzah! At long last, my Masterpiece Starscream has arrived! It pains me to say that I had to go to the Dark Side to get him- eBay. I only paid $67 shipped- 55 plus 12 shipping. (It was a straight-up autction, no Buy It now option, and I was the only bidder- thank you, Fate!) I figure with tax I would have paid about 53 at WM, so I really only paid $14 over retail. Such is the cost of my habit.

I can’t open him, or even display him boxed, until Christmas- wife’s rule, but that’s fine with me, since she was quite supportive about my getting him, and has actually starting calling him “Starscream” instead of “that toy you want”. Anyway, he looks like 9 kinds of awesome, and I can’t wait to open him up after mass on Christmas morning (I’ll be opening other stuff Christmas eve).

Finally took the plunge and bought a movie lens head with Payload. I always liked his alt mode, but it's that head and the mechanical alien bursting out of his chest that swayed me against him.

Anybody else find Payload's bio kind of....silly? Decepticons need currency in order to afford modifications?? :-?

Bootleg combiner sets from Walgreens. :-P It was 3 for $11.98 (which was cool because they only had 3 kinds), so I got Devastator, Menasor, and Superion. I had to have my grandma mail them to me, though, because I bought them on the way to the airport as I was flying home that day and my bags were already packed. It also made up for me losing an auction for the Wal-Mart Devastator set on eBay.

Acquired since last I posted in this thread:

A spare Classics Jetfire - Just in case anything ever happens to one of the awesomest TF toys ever.

Money down on Wal-Mart MP-Starscream and MP-01 Prime (FINALLY) at my local specialist (read: likes overcharging) toy store. I'm winding up paying about $130 for him. I wish it could be less like you guys, but I prefer to avoid Ebay when I can, considering how I almost lost 250 on a Masterpiece Megs (fortunately recovered), and HAVE lost $60 on a Classics Megs. Sucks being Canadian when exclusives like this come around. And if you think the Screamer price is bad, you do NOT wanna know what Prime's costing me.

And my USA reissue Astrotrain and TFCollection Kup & Wheelie arrived today from BBTS. Yay!

Well, I picked up Movie Voyager Blackout at Wally-World today. The Ironhides are apparently all in the back, but the guy said that there were "too many" to look through. I swear, does anybody get results when they ask the employees to "look in the back"? Am I the only one who gets blown off?

Then, my first Cybertron haul. I got these figs:

Demolisher
Megatron (Beast Wars)
Optimus Prime (Beast Wars)
Smokescreen
Downshift

The case had these, and one other Prime (same kind). It would seem I was beaten to the case, at my own work! What were the 2 missing figs, anybody know? I really hope I didn't miss Unicron...

Acquired God Magnus to make God Fire Convoy (i prefer that name). Looks quite good with Masterpiece Primes' cannon.

Hmmm, does MP Prime's cannon stay in his hand by itself? Looks good!

the only other one besides devastator, menasor, and superion is defensor. The K.O hotshot is the only good thing. All the the combiners(ie groove) have no articultion and look horrible transformed.I perfer to keep my devastator set in alt mode, they don't resemble the G1s or the G2s in any other matter

About to walk down to stop and shop and pick me up either '08 BB or Payload, can't decide which one to get
