G1 Starscream's wings.

Every review ever written, typed, or just said aloud has knocked this figure for being a partsformer. And so I ask: Do you REALLY have to take the wings off while transforming it? Can''t you just rotate them and manuvere the arms around them? Is it absolutely impossible to transform it without removing the wings?

IT can be done, I actualy prefer to transform the G1 Seekers as such.

If you rotate the wings in sequence with the arms unfolding, it's pretty easy.

The hands and guns still piss me off though!

Bizarre. I've never heard of anyone having to take the wings off to transform him. I've had Thrust's fall off but I always assumed transforming the Seekers without removing the wings was the obvious thing to do. It's certainly not taxing.

I knew all those reviewers were lying to me. They actually took points off for a problem that apparently doesn't exist.

So my question is: why do the reviews always complain about having to remove the wings?

That is a good question. I can understand them complaining about the wings being detachable, as having them fall off when transforming the toy can be mildly irritating. Complaining that the wings must be taken off, however, is utterly bizarre considering they don't need to be removed. I wonder if the instructions say anything about removing the wings.

No, they don't. The instructions just show the rotation of wings.

(Loud and annoying buzzing sound) Wrong.

The instructions clearly say and show that the wings must be removed.

Are these the same instructions that accompany the reissues? I don't recall the reissue instructions having colour photographs.

The reissue ones are pretty colorless....

I wonder if they feature different steps. I presume the reissue instructions are those two-tone drawings as with most Transformers.

The Japanese reissue instructions are just non-colored versions of the G1 ones.

I'm not too sure about the AMerican reissues though.

I miss color photographs in the instructions
The worst instructions I've ever seen only drew the perts being moved. And they only used the colors white and lighter white with a white background :HEADHURTS:
