I guess it's true, Stephen Sommers is directing GI Joe. It should be a fun movie!

My dream team line up for GI Joe would have been JJ Abrams directing with Alex Kurtzman and Robert Orci writing since Mission: Impossible III was awesome. Not only did I say to myself "This is Alias: The Movie," these guys would rule on GI Joe.Dark Zarak wrote:He also did Van Helsing, which was the first movie in which I dreaded the action scenes because they were so annoying.
The only good thing I can say about that movie was that they got Frankenstein's monster right. And the intro scene was cool.
G.I. Joe is now a Brussels-based outfit that stands for Global Integrated Joint Operating Entity, an international co-ed force of operatives who use hi-tech equipment to battle Cobra, an evil organization headed by a double-crossing Scottish arms dealer. The property is closer in tone to "X-Men" and James Bond than a war film.
