If you ever plan on doing a PG, try going for the Strike.
Very builder friendly as it requires no screws at all, only has one source of lighting, and looks and poses very nice.

I'm a new fan of Gundam models.
When I ordered my most recent couple of revoltechs from HLJ I stumbled upon the SD Gundams while I was there and since they're so cheap I decided to pick up a couple of these cute little machines.
I got a Super Gundam and a Blaze Zaku Warrior.
I also bought a fine tip Gundam Marker for panel lines, though I've since been told I could use any old fine felt tip marker.
Here's some pics of the completed models with panel lines and stickers but no paint.
I was pleased to discover the display stand from some small marvel figures I have works quite well with the Zaku.
The Super Gundam, being the older type with just feet and no legs is also missing the attachment point for the stand so he has to remain on the ground.

I think I may have caught the Gundam bug now. I've got another 15 of these little fellas on their way from HLJ as of today, and I'm considering buying some 1/144 HG kits in the future... But not too soon since the shipment I have on the way cost me 15,400 yen with the postage.
