I honestly forgot how brilliant the kit is (and how terrifying the shoulders are). This copy'll be staying in Unicorn Mode, and the first one will continue to remain in Destroy Mode.

A good call, I was tempted by the p-bandai release of Unicorn Gundam 02 Banshee as a localish hobby shop had it in for a decent price (hg version mind) but couldn't justify the funds then. They also had the p-bandai release of Unicorn Gundam unit 03 Phenex but that was three times higher at the same grade :shock:

Probably because of the gold plating, but still a bummer...I wonder if they'll do an RG Phenex now that Narrative is out, though that'll be pricey too. Hoping for a plain RG Banshee as well so I could give the OVA weapons to the Norn and keep the other as the Ver Ka. I don't remember the HGs being P-Bandai...?

Oh p-bandai do all sorts, the wings of light for the hg V2 gundam (and its variants the Buster Dash) are p-bandai exclusive add ons...

I knew that bit. But the Unicorn kits you mentioned, they're all regular releases, not exclusives?

Actually I meant the box art was done in one colour :lol:

I thought you were talking about the Narrative version with the gold coating. Again, my bad. And jeez, that is not a good price at all. The HG Unicorns aren't even that good, if I remember right...

Nah these weren't new enough to be for narrative. The shop does get in some random p-bandai stuff now and again but it's sitting on a pg 1/60 Phenex gundam... And a pg Zeta! But they are charging more then normal for them

The only PG I'm interested in is the Unicorn. I used to want the Exia, but honestly it looks really bad. They stylized it, which I don't think they've done for any other PG kit, and it just doesn't work for me. It would have been so much better if they based it off the RG, or the MG even, and while the lighting system is amazing, it just doesn't redeem it in my eyes. Which is a shame, since the Exia is one of my favorite Gundams...

Just a spare RG Exia (which I'll be starting on in a few minutes). But there's also an RG Qan[T], HG Shia Qan[T], and HG Ez-SR MAXIMA on the way, as well as an HG Exia Dark Matter and HG Wing from some friends.
