we all have done it. some more ethan others (me) old and new transformers. share your stories of when you accidentally broke one of your transformers.
i will share mine, i have a few:
first is my first transformer, terrorgator, i was 3 and had anger issues. i got mad at my mom and threw the poor guy. he was broken beyond repair. about 13 years later i got a replacement. just recently i (almost) broke my generations wheeljack. i went in my room very tired, my bed was covered with blankets and i plop my knee on the bed and hear a crunch. i move the covers only to see my beloved(and expensive) wheeljack in pieces. luckily all the parts could be snapped back on. please share some stories ^_^

also it was kinda my fault, i had my classics Cyclonus and nightstick out and down in my living room. my moms dog got a hold of night stick and had a light lunch

i had to get a replacement and gave away the extra Cyclonus

My stepfather destroyed nearly a entire G1/G2 collection single handedly.

MP Convoy "Megatron" stock piece extension just disintegrated before my eyes.

Armada Super pants broke his elbows twice (as in two figures)

Armada Supercon Prime (Overrun gun) broke his wings

Superlink Grand Convoy chest piece connector just broke

G1 Bombshell arm shoulder extension broke when I raised his arm :BANG_HEAD:

My first TF Takara Convoy broke his chest chamber (the right side that receives the stress when you pivot he smoke stacks arm out to form his right arm) and his fist rings broke up.

about a year ago, i tried poroxide and oxyclean to get some yellowing off my classics starscream and ramjet. while it did a little to remove the yellowing, it also made the paint bubble off and the plastic became brittle. thier wings broke off soon after. very sad and they were both hard to replace

ROTF Skids and Mudflap To combine both into vehicle mode is realy hard coz of one peg, so eventually after some transformations it broke and now I have 2 halves of the vehicle mode, can't combine anymore.

ROTF DuneRunner While transforming for storage, it snapped into two. Still no idea why..

ROTF Reverb The wheel behind him eventually just snapped off and it can't be put back..

ROTF Mindwipe I tried the custom bat configuration only to have the feet becoming loose..

ROTF Ironhide The back kibble snapped off, can't put it back anymore, also rotating to form robot mode is insansly hard, no idea why

Alternity OP Chest plate refused to set down properly, gave it to a friend who wanted it anyways, got myself a new one

Yea, had a real long list of me breaking toys, need to be gentle and not try something random or stupid.. SO my aim for DOTM is 0 breakage.

I recently went to transform generations thunder wing and his head came off in two pieces on the floor.Luckily he wasn't broken his screw that holds the two pieces together came loose and I never found the screw.So I had to replace it.

I don't break my toys as a general rule. Instead, my toys either fall apart, disinegrate, or melt all on their own. One day I'll say, "oh, I havent messed with this figure for a while and pick it up off the shelf only to find that a ball joint socket has split open, or a rubber tread (Dai Atlus) has simply cracked in half.

Fortunately, the fact that I turn them into robot mode once and never return them to alt mode probably limits the instances of actual breakage.

I had MP OP's Megatron Pistol stock break, but other than that the only one I can think of is when my RiD Prowl (regular version) had the ball joint sockets on both his doors crack. My Supercharged versiosn of Prowl is still fine though.

this sounds like a story that needs further description & explantion.

like why did he do it

what was your reaction

was he provoked by you

did he replace the toys he broke

is he still living in the house

did you sue him

was their a physical fight before or after.

My Prowl had the same issue. :shock:

I'm glad it wasn't just me.

apart from a rogue RID Prowl, I've never really done much damage to my figures. however, certain friends were a guaranteed kiss of death for my collection. (Those friends aren't around anymore)

haven't had too many casualties thankfully.

I'm the same way. I haven't ever broke a TF toy.

I'm extremly careful with my TF toys.

These days if I have trouble figuring out the transformation. I don't pull on the toy & ripp it apart. I go to u-tube & view a guy transforming the toy.

I'm 27 years old so I don't leave my toys on the floor or in my bed. they stay safely on high display shelves.

i still play with my toys and im 17, so even when i do play with them im very careful. my armada cycolus broke on me when i was little. it was a very very sad day

but years later i got a replacement ^_^ and i head bad things about MP megs breaking, is this truth?

Snapping on PCC leadfoot's arm :-(

i liked that fig...

Breaking movie 1 bumblebee's chest (my friend dint know bout the spring load and snapped it in half. :sad:

yes we were allowed to bring tfs to school lol :lol:

)

broke movie 1 ironhide's windshield (the peg that help it on to the back. i broke it on Christmas :sad:

)

and breaking alternators windcharger's rubber antenna ... quite meh

I havent heard of a single Leadfoot with two arms intact. Happened to me as well.

This is a sad tale I tell all the time. My 7th birthday was in the summer, and for it I got optimus prime. the follwing school year there was this thing called show and tell. I couldn't wait until the following day I called optimus around all night. Then I went into my moms room to say goodnite and tell her about optimus and show n tell. While transforming him for her I snapped his leg off. My god was I devastated. I think I brought in a rock lord to show n tell sigh......
