Hey guys, I could use some help. I am only interested in collecting the TFs that were actually in the movie and I've only seen DOTM once...so could you guys give me some clarification.....

Were the twins in the movie somewhere....??

What about Jolt?

And Skyhammer?

I've seen all of them in the stores but don't remember then at all in the movie

Jolt and Skyhammer are not in the movie

The twins were in the movie and can be seen in the background in vehicle mode in the early NEST HQ scene, however all robot-mode scenes were edited out but may be in the DVD/ Blu ray release. They were to be killed by Sentinel Prime in between him killing Ironhide and attacking Bumblebee.

Aside from inappropriate class sizes for the figures, this is my only other complaint about the DotM line. Jolt and the twins are not in the movie but new molds were created for these characters. What a waste! It should be deluxe Soundwave, Q, Dino, and Leadfoot on the shelves right now.

The Twins: Yeah, in the background at the NEST HQ in vehicle mode. Also, there are apparently parts of their bodies lying around during one scene, but I never caught it. They could possibly show up in the deleted scenes that will be added to DVD/Blu-Ray release, but nothing can be confirmed or debunked at this time.

Jolt: Wasn't anywhere. However, the Chevy Volt was apparently scheduled to appear at the filming in Washington D.C. but it wasn't among the vehicles brought to the set. I assume he was planned originally but was cut out earlier than the Twins. (Great action figure though)

Skyhammer: Nope. Nothing that even looked remotely like him was in the movie. I don't think he was even ever considered for a role in the film.

I couldn't agree more. It's one thing to have repaints, but when REMOULDS were actually created, then I have to wonder if more time and effort could have been spent putting out the Deluxes for Dino, Soundwave, etc.

The only explanation I can think of is that they WERE in the movie, and the communication lines between movie and toy makers aren't always open, and once certain project works were underway they simply had to continue.

Can anyone CONFIRM DEFINITIVELY we'll be getting Q, Dino and Soundwave toys? Because the biggest shock to me for ROTF was, of all the new moulds that came out for figures that weren't in the movie, Scrapper who played a role in the movie, was never created!
