18 only means you can be charged as an adult. I don't think I've ever heard people say "18 means your an adult" well aside from those kids who whine and cry, then say "I'm 18 I'm an adult, why do you treat me like a kid" then the parents laugh and bitch-slap them and reply "because you're acting like one, bitch."

Michigan gives legal adult status to anyone 18 years of age or older.

Yeah, I know, but he isn't in Michigan so in America, he isn't legal age. I don't know about Arkansas but most states have 21 as legal.
