You'd be surprised at how exhausting cake decoration can be. Especially when you have to be able to make up 8 cakes an hour for 8 hours straight.

I think you got that wrong. The saying is "Eyes are the WINDOW to the soul." They let people see who you really are. Everything the human eye does shows off traits of the person they're attached to; they wander, tear up, blink, glare, twitch. They express everything, guilt, lies, desire, anger, happiness, sadness, everything. Covering your eyes only changes how people see you in that there's no way for them to see you. (On a philosophical basis, at least)

That said, Counterpunch is right, you have pancake vision.
