Sorry about the delay, the hardtop comes from a Revel 1:24 scale Jeep(1977 I believe) model kit. The Jeep has changed very little in the last 30+ years so you can use pretty much all the parts from the model kit.

Binaltech KOs are getting harder to find but I did see some at ages three & up online store.

now that I've ordered one, they have Mustangs! Both Wheeljack and Grimlock for $30 each, inc shipping. When it arrives I can update on the quality.

not entirely on-topic, but I forgot to review the KO Wheeljack I got! I have pictures, and can post a full review if there is demand, but the short story is that they are worth getting if you can't find the real thing.

They don't match the quality of official Alts, since they are backward-engineered, but they are close enough to fill that gap in a collection. My WJ uses screws instead of pins in many places, and has a flaky chrome plating instead of silver plastic, and the engine doesn't fit under the hood (which is fine), but the biggest problem is that the doors don't quite close correctly. I just display them open, but it is an annoyance. Many parts aren't as exact as the real thing (leading to gaps in the vehicle mode body), and sometimes the sculpt is a bit muddy with the technical details, but... it works.
