God, it's been so long since I posted on here. It's good to be home.
Anyway, onto business. Sometimes, when I get a new Transformer, I'll reconfigure it (usually its vehicle form) into a "Cybertronian" form, trying to emulate how their former altmode would look. For example, I recently grabbing Prime Soundwave, and gave him a satellite form, kind of homaging his Bayverse counterpart.
I'm just curious, does anyone else do this? (Pictures are welcome, and strongly encouraged.)

I gave Prime Arcee a cybertronian hoverbike mode. I do it on occasion, but only if it works.

No, I don't. I don't really like Cybertronian modes. I think it takes more ingenuity to design something that turns into a recognisable earth mode so I appreciate them more.

War Within Onslaught's vehicle mode always reminds me of his G1 toy's base mode.
Be nice if they brought out a new line of triple changers where they have an Earth mode and a Cybertronian mode.

Not necessarily "cybertronian" modes, but I *do* enjoy a good fan-mode.
HFTD Breacher has a nifty centaur-car mode.
Dropkick's always fun gerwalk truck mode.
Also available with guns!
Nitro Bumblebee can pull off a stealth force-flight mode thing.
It also results in having all of his 5mm ports available at once, if that interests ya.
PRiD Voyager Optimus has a fairly believeable flight mode, just needs some rocket boots!
(I apologize for the clutter in the picture)
And cyberverse commander Sentinel Prime gets his just desserts in the afterlife as a chair. (I can't take credit for this one though! I'll try to find the original post that it's from if I can.)
