Within the scope of this year's apparent story, Sea Clamp would've been perfect.

Given the fact we're still missing two episode 1 Predacons represented (Terrorsaur and Scorponok), I would've preferred Scorponok.

I still want to see TF: Prime's Starscream mold redone into Terrorsaur.

For me, I would have wanted the following to be the other four to go with Ravage:

Sea Clamp remolded from Rook (new head)
Cicadacon remolded from Air Raid (new head) with a pair of swords from some other recent figure (if possible)
Ram Horn remolded from Scattorshot (new robot mode head and new combiner mode head)
Onyx Primal redecoed from Firefly (keep Firefly's head) with Prime Wheeljack's swords (if possible)

While I'm not expecting to see any other Predacon not affiliated with the Tripredacus Council in this set, I agree with at least wanting Prime Beast Hunters Starscream made into Terrorsaur.

And notice it's the Beast Hunters version instead of the First Edition or PRID versions. Works een better being an alien jet rather than an Earth one. 8-)

Just needs a new head since that one's helmet still reads as "Prime Starscream" to me.

General Ramhorn has been revealed!

Ramhorn uses the Combiner Wars Brawl mold, along with an alternate weapon, and a new head sculpt to recreate the General Ramhorn character from the Beast Wars cartoon series!

Is that a Fun Pub designed alternate weapon or Hasbro?

If It is to be reused for the techonobots don't expect it until next year as I think all of cw has been seen so it may just get put on with titan returns stuff.

As for this figure, was ramhorn always that shade of red? I don't remember the old figure looking like that

BotCon 2016 "Dawn of the Predacus" General Ramhorn Revealed

The 3rd reveal in the BotCon 2016 "Dawn of the Predacus" set is a member of the Tripredacus Council. General Ramhorn utilizes the upcoming Combiner Wars Brawl mold and includes a new head as well as an alternative weapon which is a drill. There are only two more figure reveals left. Could this also be a hint at a possible release of an upcoming member of the Technobots? Nosecone would sure go great with Scattershot.

Here's a legit question, were the tripredicus council actually red in the show or was that just the lighting/budget modeling? Because i think there was a shot or two when cicadacon i think was actually mostly grey. Also there was a bunch of red mood lighting.

I'm actually kind of skeptical about the drill to be honest: if Nosecone really is to be made from Brawl, I'd have expected a few more changes to the vehicle shell (the turret has an unsightly gap for starters), and FunPub is able to make new accessories for existing figures. Unless this is a half-and-half  But that's a discussion for another thread.

On Ram Horn, using a drill tank suits him, even though adult Rhinoceros Beetles don't burrow (nor do Cicadas sting *hint hint*). Two more to go.
The resident Rewind... well, half of one

On second thought, I'm quite disappointed that they chose to go with the colourings of a 30-second scene over that of the original toy.

If I remember correctly, it was stated somewhere that they council was supposed to modeled after the tripedacus figures, but they ran short on time and left them grey and indistinct; I agree that this combiner is going to look rather bland/interesting it 3/5 of it is going to be black and red;

Come to think on it - this will be the most cohesive combiner to date as far as propotions and color scheme go (so far) other than, maybe pirahnacon :-?
I am not a G1 fan, please treat my opinions as such.
