Transformers Age of the Primes Wave 4 Deluxes out in Canadian Walmarts + Reviews

Sureshot is a way better figure than I gave it credit for. Colours are pretty loud, awesome and correct, shape is right, Sunbow G1 look /check, etc. Of course the targetmaster is a bit weak, but not horrible at all. Also easily upgraded if one wants. I am gonna say; Sureshot is the best pure Targetmaster figure yet. All the Decepticons are unnecessarily Headmasters, Crosshairs is ok, but a repaint/mould, Pointblank... is best left blank.

Upon further inspection, that Powerglide plane mode is a bit small and short. I know he was a Minibot, but maybe he should've been a voyager for a more proportional plane mode?

Also I'm impressed with that Ratchet. He's a deluxe, but that TB/Hoist mold is a big deluxe.

I didn't realize until now that the wave breakdown put the Prime Cliffjumper repack (which I will be getting since I wasn't going to grab a whole 4-pack for just him) in the same wave as these other 4 specific Deluxes, does make we wonder which 2 of these are gonna be shortpacked, but also why is this whole Deluxe wave red/white-and-red Autobots

Ratchet wears that mold better than the guys it was made for, imo, and he even looks to have all the tools from his original figure! Definite purchase, Siege Ratchet is getting demoted to I guess an unnamed medical extra now.

No interest in Powerglide from me, but I'd gladly snag a Viper repaint (don't care enough about Bad Boy to buy him solo, but if they put him in an appealing multipack I'd consider it).

Surprised by how much retooling Swerve got, I was expecting just the head and chest but I like the big faux shoulder wheels. Shame they couldn't/didn't give him My First Blaster (I know it wouldn't have been G1 accurate, don't care). Might pick him up on sale, we'll see.

The mystery unlabeled Smokescreen is the Prime version, sick! Chest seems like it's not tabbed in in these picks, so I'd love to see better pictures down the line, but the car mode looks basically perfect, the head sculpt is solid, and it even looks like he has a molded-in Phase Shifter on his left arm! Definitely grabbing him too.

I suspect it's a combination of hand-painted prototype and also just how colors change when photographed, since Ratchet is also way brighter in some of those shots than others.

Knock Out would still have his kibble in the wrong spots like the Jazz retool, and I don't know that they'd do another Knock Out so soon, but someone's already digibashed a Bee and I'd absolutely be down (though presumably with different guns).

Smokescreen looks pretty good. Already own the Takara original, so not sure I really need to pick this up.

Maybe if they give us Prowl, Bluestreak or even Barricade repaints? Yes, I know, they were not in the show. But what else are you gonna do with a new Smokescreen mold?

Also, both Prowl and Barricade were repaints of Prime Smokescreen, so there is precedent. And that mold in balcony would look nice.



Ratchet may be a pass. The Trailbreaker mold fits him pretty well though.

Powerglide is a definite pickup though.

I like powerglide and Ratchet but do we know when Armada Jetfire will be revealed? That is what I looking forward too the most
